What first started as a once-a-year, annual event, Social Media Collective PHL has grown to be a year-round resource for members within the social media marketing community.

The Need
More than a moment.
This evolution brought the need for a new name and a brand identity that reflects the organization's spunk.


The Solution
Making the switch.
Implementing elements such as pill-shaped framing, illustrative line work, and, their key motif, a toggle switch created a distinct visual identity that can easily be applied across various mediums. Complimented by striking colors and energetic photography, this rebrand embodies the goals and values of Social Media Collective PHL.

Revealed at the 2025 Social Media Day, the rebrand has been seamlessly integrated into the brand's collateral through social presence, event signage, and swag materials and welcomed by members.
Upon entry, the work on the SMC PHL rebrand has received GDUSA’s 2025 American Graphic Design Award in the Branding + Identity category.
